Darrell... being himself! LOL : Darrell and I have become fast friends over the last 5 years, since he performed for our Children's Lit class at college. Darrell House is an AWESOME storyteller, folk singer, and author of children's books, including "Miller the Green Caterpillar" and "The King of Fish".  His stories teach a lesson of some type, and are truly wonderful books.  He also has a couple of audio CDs available of his music.He performs all over the country at schools, libraries, hospitals and such, and is a pure joy to see.  All the children love him, and his love of them shines through as well.  If you ever have a chance.... Son - Cory - 2007 : Here we were just hanging out at the hospital awaitng admission.  Cory has to go every year for an overnight EEG observation for his epilepsy an dhis Tourette's Syndrome.  He is a real trooper about all of it, and even at 11 yrs old, copes like you would expect an adult to do.  It is sad that these kids are forced to "grow up" so early when they deal with chronic illness.  He also has ADHD and OCD.)He is a great kid and my right hand here at home.  God Bless you baby!  I love you!

MY College Graduation! : Dec 2007 - B.S. Elementary Education - FL certified K-6 with ESOL Endorsement and additional ESE certification.  As you can see the family is SO proud of me!  I graduated Summa Cum Laude - 9th in my class - after 2 years of school 4 nights a week (even in the summer).  It was worth every minute, and now I am considering continuing for my MS Ed with a concentration in Reading - to be completed totally online.

Mom & me - Carnival Cruise '05 : This was such an awesome trip - it was just my mom & me for 4 days to the Bahamas.  Knowing it was likely the last chance she would have to "go" anywhere like this, we jumped in and went.  We truly enjoyed the trip - but mostly each other's company.  I don't know how much longer she will be with me, but I cherish every day I have with her!

"Misty" - Forever friend : My forever friend, this is the service dog I raised from a puppy - part collie and part husky.  She is wonderful - dedicated, intelligent, and loving.  She is now almost 7 yrs old, and I know I may only have a few more great years with her before I must "retire" her from service and raise another one.  Even when not "on duty", she is the very best dog I ahve ever owned.  She will never be replaced in my heart!

Aurora - Goddess of the Morning : Latin for "dawn" - Aurora is the Roman Goddess of the Morning.  We were truly blessed the morning we found this little stray kitten 5 years ago.  She is a very loving companion!

Totally in LOVE! : Ray & Blue are my newest additions.  These 2 should produce some beautiful Harlequin Macaw babies!  Aen't they gorgeous??!!
