This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 09, 2007:
Ohhhh so MANY to choose from ... my parents read to us daily from a wide variety of books.
But... without a doubt.... I must say Winnie-ther-Pooh! (Yes, the "ther" IS the correct way as stated by the author, A.A. Milne!)
I still have my original copy from 1951 (man am I getting old!) and I still love the stories today. My own children have dog-eared every copy I have boughten for them (I won't share my original!) I have also added the more recent and modern versions (Disney, etc) to my collection, but the old stories are still the very best, and they teach children little things that are important for them to grow up with.... like friendship, teamwork, and compassion.
Long live Pooh and his crew!! :-)
